Questions people ask
What is the Spaces feature in Nett?
Spaces are separate financial environments for different parts of your life. Use a Personal space for everyday expenses, a Business space for work, a Trip space for travel, or a Custom space for anything else. Each space has its own accounts, transactions, budgets, goals, and reports, so everything stays organized and separate.
How does split payment tracking work?
Business and Trip spaces include split payment tracking. For an expense, you can log the total amount, how much you have paid, and what is still owed. For income, you log the total, what you have received, and what is still coming. Nett shows receivables and payables at a glance, with target dates to help you stay on track.
How do I set up and track a savings goal?
Open the Goals tab and tap the plus button to create a new goal. Enter a name, target amount, and deadline, and optionally link it to an account. Nett tracks your progress and shows how much to save each month to reach it on time.
How do recurring transactions work?
Recurring transactions record income or expenses that happen on a schedule, like rent, salary, subscriptions, or bills. Set one up once with a frequency, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly, and Nett creates each occurrence automatically from then on.
Can I export or back up my financial data?
Yes. Nett includes data export for your transaction history and reports, useful for backups or moving data into another tool. You can also back up your full data set to your own iCloud Drive or Google Drive at any time from Settings. When you back up to Google Drive, Nett only writes its own backup file to a private, app-specific folder in your Drive. It never reads, lists, or accesses any other files in your Google account.
Is my financial data secure?
All your financial data is stored locally on your device. Nett does not collect or share your personal financial information, and it is not designed to store sensitive identity documents.
